Tibet is plateau region which comes in Asia; from north side of the Himalayas. This is the home place for the Tibetan people and also for some of the groups; Lhobas, Qiang and Monpas.Tibet is almost inhabited by the Hui and Han people. And the area only of Lhasa is about 3 million square kilometers and in which 40 million people are inhabited. Urban area of this is of 544 square kilometers, from that 40 million people 14 millions are situated here including Han, Hui, Tibetan and other. Total population of Tibet is 87%. Agriculture and animal husbandry are also done in the suburbs of Lhasa. Many varieties of vegetables and meats have been bought in the Tibetan market. Lhasa also supports the backbone of Industrial Entreprises; this city of Lhasa is having more than 10 thousands of commercial outlets. 
Capital Of Tibet Lhasa has gone through many changes in their urban areas, and many more after the liberation of Tibet in 1951.Lhasa is good example for modern architecture like; Lhasa hotel, University of Tibet, peoples house of Tibet, Tibet centre and many hospitals,cinemas,art galleries, activity centers along with the Lhasa transportation. Lhasa has more than two hundred monuments and more than twenty tourist places have been established and still more than thirty monuments have to be developed.Ramoche, Drepung Monastery, Norbu lingka, Jokhang Temple, Sera monastery are the places which are popular in Lhasa and developed as the tourist area. There are natural beauties also there in Lhasa nature Reserve in Lin Zhou, Nam co, Maizhokunggar are the places. One place is Bakhor in the old town which is good site for the tourists it's also shows the tradition and traditional features of the city. Lhasa city have very busy streets and several of ethnic arts and crafts and along with the ethnic clothing that you can find on cheap rates. |
